Looking to develop CSA model in time. Currently using face book, open food network website and farmers markets.
Would be great to share the OFN learnings … what we we have done.
What is your website @triumph.79? Where are you based?? We have used OFN for last 5-7yrs, and found it very good.
@SallyRuljancich would be a great person to contact also. @serenity is there a ‘cheat flow chart’ of what other producers have done to build their businesses … what has worked, what hasn’t?
Happy to contribute if there is! Of what to do and what NOT to do (as much as we have learnt for now anyhow…)
Cheers, Carolyn
Yes, if you head to https://openfoodnetwork.org/au/learn/ and click the ‘community supported agriculture’ tag you’ll see some resources for developing a marketing plan for CSAs, and some other resources on how to start a CSA.
But I’d love to hear what else is out there and what other more local advice people can offer!
Hi Carolyn. Thanks for your reply. Website at openfood network is Ninety Mile Biodynamics lamb and beef. We are based on the Ninety Mile beach in south east Gippsland. I haven’t had much luck with OFN, what have you done with your site?
Steve
Thank you for that Jen!
