Inviting food system thinkers and food sustainability practitioners, from key organisations across municipalities, to co-create a shared vision and set of objectives for the activation of the Alphinton Food Hub site.

The outcomes of the day will inform the next steps of the project, including a detailed study for which support will be sort from the City of Darebin, and form the basis for a major grant application with the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.

If anyone is going to this event tomorrow, it would be great to encourage people to share what’s coming up in discussions here on the forum following on from the event.

There are plenty of people with experience running and setting up food hubs here who might be able to offer advice, and it would be wonderful to have some of these conversations here so that others around the country can learn from the process, challenges, successes, etc.

@miranda will you be there? If so could you perhaps encourage attendees to share the process and questions here on the forum?
