In Summer time, many food plants bolt and go to seed. Rather than throwing the seed into the compost, harvest the seed, and send to a NFP. The listed NFPs are interested in empowering people with sustainable approaches to food gardening - particularly those helping Refugees.
By sending seed to assist folks in food insecurity establish their own gardens, the food share economy is developed rapidly. Once excess is produces, folks head out to food swaps etc.
