Coordinated by the Australian Food Sovereignty Alliance (AFSA), Australia’s Fair Food Week shines a light on our new story of food. Think the food system in Australia is a bit broken? Like hangning out and growing/eating/making food with likeminded people? Want to know what else you can do to improve our food system? Just love food? Then read on!
What is Fair Food Week?..
…Hosted by individuals and food organisations across Australia between 6-14th October 2018, through FFW you will discover events across the country that will attract, intrigue and entertain you. You can organise or attend events such as:
- community garden tours and workshops
- forums — workshops — speakers
- farmers’ fairs — farm tours
- films — food swaps — and more, much more!
Individuals and community groups hold their own local and fair food events over the course of the week - events can be listed on the FFW website, so people can easily find them. Get together with members of your local community to create meaningful change in our food system!
