There’s a food writing school running as part of the Emerging Writers’ Festival in Melbourne: http://www.gourmettraveller.com.au/events/special-events/2017/5/food-writing-school-at-ricky-pinky/
While the focus is on how to be a food critic rather than fair food, I reckon it’d be interesting for anyone who’s trying to break into getting food writing published, and there are obviously some great examples of people using food writing to help reshape the conversation about what is valuable in food.
And not too bad a price! $55-60 including a six course tasting menu at Ricky & Pinky. The class is led by Larissa Dubecki and Michael Harden.
