Invisible Farmer: Sharing stories of women in Australian Ag

Invisible Farmer is the largest ever study of Australian women on the land. This three year project is funded by the Australian Research Council and involves a nation-wide partnership between rural communities, academics, government and cultural organisations.

I posted an ad for a PhD scholarship for this project previously, but was just having a read through some of their featured stories - check it out:

What wonderful work !
i am working with grassroots farmers doing the same thing over seas
helping them to develop co-operatives that interconnect for the sharing of
resources, these are extremely poor people and the work for me is to also
support holistic perspective and diverse organic farming best practice as
guided bt work in Nepal.
. it would be great to connect you guys with the projects in Africa, to
see if there can be global collaboration,

The bumblebee Factory is my own work with refugee women here but this is
creative food production so they heal as they cook and grow in a creative
way,… in their own homes.

See link to website, below

take care look forward to hearing from you.

There is hope for a tree that has been cut down; it can come back to life
and sprout. Even though its roots grow old, and its stump dies in the
ground, with water it will sprout like a young plant.
