Local food network's plans

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is willing to share any strategic plans, action plans, plans in general that their local food network has that directs their collaboration and direction as a collective.

Any help here is much appreciated.

Regards,

Megan

Might be something in this:

Hi Megan,

You might find some useful ideas at http://www.southeastfood.com.au/

In particular see the East Food Discussion Paper which sets out the barriers to growing the local food economy and the strategies to address those barriers, and the South East Food Plan which sets out the strategies to increase local food production, improve local food supply, and increase local food consumption.

Thank you so much Carolyn for the suggestion. This looks like a great help to what I am after. I have heard a little bit about the work the South Coast of NSW have done. A great approach to helping establish and promote a strong local food economy!

Hi Andrew, thanks for this link to the resource. I will have a look at this some more. We are looking to link further into some regional work here in the North East of Victoria in supporting producers and farmers to enter the market space and perhaps look at diversifying what they have in response to demand and trends. The Catchment Management Authority up here have been strong advocates in pushing this focus here.
