I'm trying to set up school markets, particularly in schools that run the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program.
My idea is that parents would be able to order a seasonal box of produce online which would be picked up once a week at the end of the school day.
I know that there are various farmers markets that are held at primary schools over the weekend. I'm not aiming to work with those, but rather the schools that don't have a weekend farmers market already.
It would be interesting to hear of any tips/suggestions. One barrier that I've found is getting the idea past the administrative staff, who sometimes act as 'gatekeepers' to the principal.
