The Ripe for Change Grants Program 2017

Applications are now OPEN for small grants of up to $10,000 for projects addressing complex food systems issues through a localised approach. Applications close 5:00pm 21 April 2017.

Ripe for Change is a philanthropic initiative which aims to make the Victorian food system more sustainable. The small grants scheme is being trialled in the Casey, Cardinia and Mornington Peninsula municipalities. Small grants of up to $10,000 are available for initiatives which are based solely or mainly in these three municipalities and focus on one or more of the Ripe for Change outcome areas:

  • Outcome area 1 - Healthy natural systems
  • Outcome area 2 - Viable enterprises
  • Outcome area 3 - Health equity access
  • Outcome area 4 - Galvanised and engaged movements

If you are looking for a grant for a local food initiative, consider applying.
Charities and community organisations, Schools, Business (if the project has a public benefit) and Individuals are invited to apply. Applicants must meet the eligible criteria.
